If it seems like I haven’t blogged in a while, it’s true. A whole week or more has gone by without me updating with a new post. To those of you who read this blog regularly with expectations of fresh, new publicity insight at least a couple of times a week, let me sincerely apologize.
The reason for my absence from this space is good however. It seems that more and more people are understanding the power of PR. This in my experience is a new phenomenon because in times past, I would have to convince people why they needed to add PR to their marketing. Now, small business owners are understanding what PR is and its inherent value.
This makes me happy. It also keeps me busy. Recently, I signed 4 new clients to my roster and it has been easy to do so! Plus, I’ve been receiving invitations to speak like crazy about the Power of PR. I’m loving it!
Maybe I can accredit my success to the fact that I read The Secret a few weeks ago and started to apply the techniques–or maybe people are just really understanding what PR can do for them…Finally!
Whatever the case might be, the bottomline is that all this new business has kept me extremely busy–thus, I haven’t had time to blog…
Nevertheless, I still have a ton of great info to share with you. Coming soon, I have a great case study of an author who could use some help to make her books fly off the shelf. A couple of my friends and I will help her along with any other authors out there.
Also, I’ll debunk some of the myths about media people and share the dirty little secrets that every publicity seeker should know.
And, I’ll help you get ready for your 2009 PR campaign starting this month…
